Graduates of 2021 – Looking for an Audit Traineeship? Join our three year ICAS Training programme to allow you to become professionally qualified and start your journey with FD.
We are looking for trainees to start with FD in in August 2022. At French Duncan, more than 30% of our employees are currently undertaking some form of formal training including ICAS, ACCA, CTA and AAT.

Our charity and social events are all organised by our CSR & Social Committee, which is made up of staff from across each of the offices. At the end of each year our staff vote for the following year’s charity, rotating between Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling.
Making A Difference is one of our core values, and this is something our staff and partners show real enthusiasm for in raising funds for our Charity of the Year which is currently Launch Foods, who we are supporting throughout 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. In 2019 we were delighted to raise £16,000 for Chris’s House, from a series of fundraising events throughout the year and during 2018 we raised £11,000 for Strathcarron Hospice. We have a very committed Healthy Living team who focus on improving wellbeing across the firm through a wide range of activities and awareness from organising step challenges, awareness days and mindfulness sessions. Below are pictures of winners of some of our recent challenges.
Our team of Wellbeing Champions take it in turn to write a monthly article called ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’, which focuses on a huge range of related subjects from breathing exercises & relaxation techniques to talking candidly about experiences of stress and how to deal with it.
To take it a step further and offer practical & personal support, we launched our Mental Health First Aid team at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic. Our trained staff are on hand to speak to any staff members confidentially, which has proved really helpful throughout lockdown.
