New Scottish 'Digital Boost' grant for SMEs

The Scottish Government recently announced a new grant scheme to support Scottish-based SMEs do more online.

Called 'Digital Boost' it provides a grant of up to £25,000 towards the costs of various digitalisation projects, which are intended to either reduce costs or increase revenue / margin.  In terms of who can apply, the main criteria is that you must meet the 'European definition' of an SME (in essence fewer than 250 employees, annual turnover <50m euro and/or annual balance sheet total <43m euro) and you must have been trading for six months.
