“Recruited into a business, which was predominantly paper based & using sage, one of the first changes we made was to move from Sage 50 to something cloud based, cost effective & the ability to provide tailored reporting.
Not knowing where to start and which cloud based system to go for, we contacted French Duncan who advised us Xero was a good option.
Within a few weeks a demo was arranged & demonstrated to key decision makers, French Duncan especially Lisa who was able to demonstrate various scenarios.
We agreed an implementation date and everything went well, Phil & the team in the background ensured everything went smoothly on the day.
Since the implementation, we have carried out a phased handover of tasks on Xero, at the start French Duncan did everything and gradually as we grew confidence in the system staff from our side started overseeing elements.
Now French Duncan do very little in terms of day to day but continue to support us at month end. Their support is as much or as little as you need.
I would recommend Xero & French Duncan to other businesses, however the core function of Xero is excellent, we did find that other elements, such as quotes & expenses limiting and therefore forced down the Xero Market Place route for systems which integrate with Xero.
Looking back the move to Xero has been extremely positive & haven’t hesitated since.”
