Judith Howson has worked in the Insolvency profession for 19 years, having started her career as a graduate in London in 1996. Following successful completion of her ACCA examinations, she spent a year on secondment in Melbourne, Australia before returning to the UK and relocating to Scotland where she worked for a further two years in the Glasgow office of a national insolvency practitioner. In 2004, Judith joined a Big Four firm and spent nine years there, reaching the trade of Assistant Director before joining French Duncan as a consultant in 2014 and a permanent staff member in 2015.
Experienced in all forms of insolvency processes, Judith currently manages the corporate case portfolio for our Hamilton office. She is also an experienced trainer and takes responsibility for delivering in-house training for the Restructuring & Debt Advisory team.
Whether it be a company director or individual who needs expert insolvency advice, Judith takes time to listen and understand the position within which clients find themselves so that the optimal solution is always offered. When dealing with insolvency cases, she ensures a thorough investigation is conducted so that maximum recoveries are achieved and appropriate actions taken to enhance potential returns to creditors.
