Alan joined French Duncan in June 2016 after working in the tax department for a leading Edinburgh law firm for ten years. Now a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser, and a member of the ATT, Alan also holds a first class honours in Business Management and Accounting from Edinburgh University.
Alan has extensive experience working in areas relating to private client tax, including capital gains tax reliefs, international tax, venture capital reliefs, tax efficient structures, owner-managed businesses and inheritance tax and trusts.
He prides himself on providing clients with the best advice to allow them to manage their affairs effectively. By remaining up to speed with top accountancy and tax issues, he will ensure French Duncan’s clients stay ahead of the competition.
