French Duncan Glasgow office continues to expand

The expansion of our Glasgow office continues apace with a quartet of new starts joining the team to ensure that we continue to provide our clients with an unrivalled range and depth of business and financial advice.
Maria McConnell joins as a senior VAT manager, having worked with a wide spectrum of UK and international clients, including the charity and not for profit sector on all aspects of VAT, as well as property planning, business restructuring, partial exemption and Capital Goods Scheme and international and UK VAT compliance issues.
Former third division footballer Stephen Oates joins as a tax manager, with extensive experience of working for both personal and corporate tax clients, including grant funding to support clients in the development of their businesses, any CIS issues relating to clients and dealing with any payment plans required in order to pay any liabilities due.
Claire Darroch joins our entrepreneurial services department as a manager from the private sector, having worked as a Group Commercial Development Accountant at a global logistics company with a remit to develop the business and achieve growth in trade and profitability. A commercially minded CA, Claire has experience working in a corporate advisory role, encompassing corporate finance and transactional services.
And Marc Vosilius joins as a corporate finance executive, having qualified as a chartered accountant last year and switching his specialism from audit to corporate advisory. Already acknowledged by ICAS as an exceptional talent, Marc has won a special accountancy award to mark its 160th anniversary.
