French Duncan accountant achieves prestigious tax accolade
Glasgow based accountant Gordon Buist has recently achieved the rare distinction of being admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), becoming one of a small number of individuals to have attained Fellowship in Scotland by demonstrating an outstanding technical ability that reflects a long-standing interest in tax policy.
Gordon, who joined French Duncan Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers as Tax Senior Manager in March 2018, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2012. Since qualifying, he has worked as a Tax Consultant, rising to Manager two years later then to Senior Manager in 2015.
Gordon has also been a member of the Owner-Managed Businesses Technical Committee of the CIOT since January 2017.
