Experience:

Formally Corporate Tax Director in a national practice and previously in senior positions with Big 4 firms, Ann has over 30 years experience in finding commercial solutions to tax problems and arranging tax planning to align with the strategic business aims of companies and their shareholders.

Ann's main area of activity is in dealing with and advising the management and stakeholders of privately owned companies. Within this wide remit she has a particular interest in Research & Development tax reliefs, the constantly changing world of Employment Taxation and overseas tax issues for companies operating outside the UK. Over the years, Ann has developed fine tuned skills in dealing with HMRC generally and specifically on Enquiries, a very useful asset in a climate of increasing HMRC powers and stringent penalties.
